2023 Turnstone TG Mastergrade German Spruce/Bog Oak
We are very excited at Cedar Rock to be representing Turnstone guitars from the UK. While at the 2023 Woodstock in October there were a few guitars that really stood out to me. This Turnstone TG model really caught my attention from Luthier Rosie Heydenrych from the foot of the Surrey hills in the UK. The TG is Rosie’s unique take on the modern grand auditorium model and has a 15.3 inch lower bout with a tight waist. It has a stunning dark set of Bog Oak with a Mastergrade German Spruce top. It features a soundport, a mini arm bevel, detailed fretboard side to top stone markers, and a back strip with oak burl in bog oak with a mitered purfling border. Rosie’s attention to detail is impeccable and her voicing of this one is so good. It has a deep strong bass response with rich trebles that sustain forever. This is a lifetime keeper guitar that will inspire.
