Dontcho Ivanov is a treasure in the Canadian lutherie world. Having learned from many great builders and built guitars of many styles it is safe to say he knows exactly what he is doing. The tone of his two OM’s we have had here is very exact and full-sounding, there is a fundamental “wall of sound” that you experience while playing his guitars that gives you the sense that any style of music is possible. The soundboard on this guitar has energetic, bold treble strings and matureness in the low midrange, making it a pure delight for fingerstyle – feels wide awake. The voicing Dontcho achieves with the Sinker Cedar top is extremely impressive – we’ll let you hear for yourself, though. It is is in mint condition and comes with a Visesnut premier flight case.
