Description

2004 Lowden O38 Brazilian/Cedar. Sold

The O-38 has been a flagship model for George Lowden since the 70’s. The only ‘standard’ model with Abalone Pearl Leaf inlays and top purfling, giving the 38 a little bit of extra bling as opposed to the standard wood purflings and blank fretboard. This one was custom built with really rich dark Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and a premium set of Cedar. It’s a beautiful eye catching build, and the sound is incredible. You feel it in your chest from the first strum. Amazing for fingerstyle but also strumming chords as well. You will be blown away in alternate tunings, drop D, DADGAD, and even down to C.
