Just in to Cedar Rock is this very special Julius Borges 00-28.
Being a 00-12 Fret it is in all regards an ideal parlor guitar. It is lightly built with 1/4″ X bracing that compliments the 14 1/8″ lower bout perfectly. Getting a huge full bodied voice from such a small guitar is something Borges does so well. It is like one of the golden era Martins.

Drew Heinonen has built a masterpiece here with this SJ with figured Walnut and Alpine Spruce for the top. This guitar was featured at the Fretboard Summit in Chicago in 2023 so you know Drew pulled out all the stops for this build. Every once in a while we get a guitar so special we can’t stop smiling. This OM from luthier Isaac Jang is one of those incredible special guitars that you just don’t want to put it down. The straight grained Brazilian is one of the nicest sets we have seen. A silky Italian spruce top and a Uchida-style bendaway, is simply stunning. It has a Brazilian fretboard and bridge with figured Koa trim. It has tremendous clarity with enough overtone for complexity but doesn’t overwhelm the fundamental. This is a guitar that will inspire for a lifetime. It’s in mint condition.
