A very very special guitar is this McConnell SJ. It has a primo set of Brazilian Rosewood, and a German Spruce top. This one is loaded with pretty much every option you can think of. A Brazilian neck with a satin finish is as smooth as butter, and with the Multiscale drop tunings sound piano like even down to Low C. It features an arm bevel for hours of playing comfort, and the Rodger tuners add the final touch. Every frequency respond’s instantly to the lightest touch, but you can drive it hard and it still keeps up.

Here we have an exceptional build that we are confident in saying is among the most responsive and artistically-rich guitars we have ever had pass through the shop. A true privilege to record these clips and share these photos. The woods alone will give you a sense of bewilderment, not to mention the museum-grade inlay work by the lovely Jimmi Wingert. The 25.4-26.25” multi-scale allows you to play the guitar with power to drive the most volume from the top and believe us – you will want to. Despite having this fan spread and being a full-size guitar it is remarkable how easy it is to play. The intonation is also very accurate. Jordon really knows what he is doing, every single facet of this build feels well-thought-out and masterfully executed.

Perhaps the finest guitar we’ve ever had in. A luxurious treat to the eyes and ears alike. Jordan started with the highest quality tonewoods available for uncompromising sound, then added arm and rib bevels for ergonomic comfort, a 25″-26″ multiscale for dropped-tuning heaven, and wrapped it all up in one of nature’s most beautiful and rare woods – snakewood. The closer you look at this guitar, the more you appreciate the time that had to have gone into it. French polish seals the deal, allowing these fine woods to breathe and make the most of their mojo. It’s a smooth ride and there’s a lot of throttle when you need it.
