The combination of the Sinker Mahogany for the back and sides, and the German Spruce top, is one of our favorite wood combos. It has a big voice with a tight robust bass response, with a perfect midrange and lush silky trebles. This one features his mini arm bevel, and a soundport for your own personal monitoring  experience. This also gives the player a little bit of a stereo spread of sound while playing. Brazilian bound, with Brazilian fretboard, head cap, backcap, healcap, and tail wedge! To top it all off, it has Adirondack bracing for a little more headroom. This guitar also features an epoxy cured fretboard-neck for added density and less introduction of water to the wood, unlike standard glues, which leads to movements down the road! To add to the strength, Jeff used a titanium trussrod! A true wide spec’ed guitar for finger style with 2-5/16″ saddle spacing and 1-25/32″ nut width Mother of pearl side dots for high stage visibility, and matching cocobolo rosette for the back cutoffs. This exquisite guitar features Sinker Mahogany recovered from sunken logs in Belize. This highly figured mahogany has a color that you typically only see on mahogany that is very old. Jeff’s model features a premium Engelmann Spruce soundboard that also works as a canvas for a stunning sunburst. The sunburst is dramatically offset by ebon bindings and herringbone purling. This OM has detailed tone with amazing clarity and a responsiveness that is so inspiring. Just like all of Jeff’s guitars we have gotten in the setup and action is spot on for fingerstyle making it a breeze to play.
