The Bristlecone is Mark’s most popular model. It is slightly larger than an OM and offers a clear, balanced sound. It has a very mature sound for a new guitar.  The bass is full yet focused and the trebles are strong and silky. This guitar is the perfect example of standard tonewoods sounding exceptional in the hands of the right builder. I also love how Mark builds his guitars in such a way that you feel no edges – the neck profile feels very welcoming and the body bindings are rounded to give a nice feel all over the guitar. An extra perk is the Manzer wedge on this guitar makes the body depth less where the right arm sits which provides a comfortable playing experience.
