In 2004 Cedar Rock Studio opened its doors. The venue strikes a balance between at home comfort and technical savvy. The 4,000 square foot facility features 32 foot high cathedral ceilings, large windows, exotic floating floors and cedar and stone design elements throughout. Focusing on all types of music, the facility is comprised of a main tracking room, offset by four large isolation rooms featuring Auralex Metro and DST acoustical treatments. The spacious 27x30 control room features a 48 frame Trident Series 80 5.1 capable console with Uptown 2000 automation, Dynaudio 212 and UREI 15 monitors, and IZ Radar Nyquist 24/192 and Nuendo 2 inch analog 16 track recorders. Outboard gear spans API pre's to Neve vintage compressors. The mic closet houses a Nuemann 149 and TLM, AKG, Royer 122 and vintage RCA mics. The studio's private living quarters are network equipped and video capable. Other ammenities are in-house graphic design, a photo studio, game room and a room full of vintage guitars and amps.
